I would like to be able to use it as a Roku channel

I use a Roku which is not DLNA compliant and therefore won't work with KooRaRoo. However, I found a program, Plex Media Server which you can set up as a Roku channel and in that way use it for playing files from your computer on the TV. That is a feature you should add as well.
